Many students develop an interest in the STEM fields at a very young age, dreaming of what they are going to be when they grow up. In recent times, research shows that more and more students are expressing curiosity for the medical field. However, by the time these students reach the end of their high school career, the portion of students pursuing pre-med majors in college have significantly decreased. 

 

As students go through their high school academic curriculums and begin developing passions for different subjects, they start creating plans for their future and roadmaps of how they are going to succeed. In this process, many students fall into a common trap that hinders their effort of achieving their dream: fear of failure and lack of knowledge. 

 

Students either read some discouraging articles online about the extensive years of education that many medical professions require and decide to give up of their goal or they simply don't know what they are getting into and when they realize it, they just want to quit.

We, Meducate Youth, have made it our mission to help students who have a true passion for medicine and want to pursue a career in the field. It is our goal to not only provide abundant opportunities and resources, but also expose students to what the field of medicine involves and help them discover the various professions that fall under the broad umbrella of medicine!
